    Requirements

    • Proven experience in BSA/AML compliance, specifically within fintech or high-volume financial services environment
    • Strong analytical skills to connect disparate data points for comprehensive view of customer behavior
    • Technical proficiency with AML monitoring software and case management systems
    • Excellent written communication skills focused on precision and clarity in investigative reporting

    What You'll Do

    • Draft and file high-quality Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for law enforcement and regulators
    • Perform end-to-end investigations into complex customer activity to identify suspicious activity such as money laundering, identity theft, and fraud
    • Compare Know Your Customer (KYC) information to Sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) lists to verify false and true positives
    • Analyze transaction patterns and customer profiles to determine if activity is consistent with customer's known occupation or business purpose
    • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to refine automated monitoring rules and reduce false positives while maintaining high detection standards
    • Stay ahead of emerging financial crime trends and regulatory changes to ensure controls remain effective
    • Assist with internal audits and external regulatory examinations
