Requirements

What You'll Do
- •Own growth engineering projects end-to-end, including localization framework, referral program logic, attribution systems, and tracking infrastructure.
- •Build features on Buffer's marketing site such as landing pages, interactive tools, and conversion flows.
- •Shape marketing platform capabilities by building systems and frameworks to improve team speed, including A/B testing infrastructure and programmatic page generation for SEO and AEO.
- •Drive experimentation and optimization by setting up experiments, validating results, and iterating based on findings.
- •Maintain integrations with marketing technology stack (Segment, GTM, Mixpanel, BigQuery), upgrade dependencies, optimize performance, and ensure accessibility.
- •Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to system health.
- •Help shape engineering culture through pairing, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and raising frontend work standards.
Nice to Have
- •Experience with Next.js, Express middleware, CSS Modules, Motion, Radix UI, Base UI, Recharts.
- •Familiarity with marketing technology stack including Segment, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, BigQuery.
- •Experience with content and data sources like Ghost CMS, Redash, Notion, Google Sheets, and external APIs.
