Requirements

•10+ years in product building leadership including managing managers and owning business outcomes for complex, user-facing product domains.
•Proven track record designing the operating model of a domain (pod topology, interfaces, governance, quality bar).
•Deep, hands-on fluency with AI-first product building and shipped real customer-facing software with AI as the execution layer.
•Strong design taste and craft bar personally held and raised across teams.
•Close to the customer with regular direct user conversations and evidence-based decisions.
•Shapes strategy with Strategy/Product leaders, not just executes it.
•Thrives in a fully remote, global, async, high-ownership environment.

•Lead the Camunda Experience sub-division end-to-end, managing ~25 people across multiple pods and owning business outcomes of the entire experience layer.
•Establish and run the new Builder operating model including governance, rituals, quality bar, and forums for Builder pods.
•Ship the first wave of Builder outcomes such as a revised Camunda Hub and AI-native builder experience with iterative customer-visible value.
•Design the organizational architecture of the domain including pod boundaries, scopes, interfaces, and ownership seams.
•Shape long-term strategy in partnership with Strategy PMs, turning directional bets into concrete domain thesis and investment logic.
•Own AI-first production line engineering for the domain, enforcing AI-first repo blueprint and investing in reusable agent context and skills.
•Create conditions for sustainable maintenance and support at scale, clarifying ownership boundaries and balancing feature work against product health.

•Experience in a Product Builder / Product Engineer / Design Engineer style model.
•Background in developer tools, enterprise B2B platforms, or low-code / pro-code builder products.
•Familiarity with BPMN, process orchestration, or Camunda 8.
•Led a major operating-model or AI-native transformation without losing delivery momentum.
