Requirements

•Ability and/or willingness to use the product with curiosity about customer problems.
•Strong expertise in building, operating, and maintaining Helm Charts; deploying applications on Kubernetes; implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions; managing infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
•Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively across teams.
•Pragmatic and autonomous approach to programming and problem-solving.
•Ability to work independently and take ownership of maintainable, operable software.

•Build, maintain, and release C8 distribution artifacts for self-managed customers — Helm Charts (Kubernetes), C8Run, and Docker Compose — along with their documentation.
•Improve the reliability and usability of deployment artifacts across the full customer lifecycle: installation, upgrades, and day-2 operations.
•Engage directly with internal customer-facing teams (Support, Consulting, Presales) to understand real deployment problems and help shape priorities.
•Collaborate with Development Teams, Product Management, QA, and Documentation to ship integrated, tested, and documented releases.
•Take part in the team's shared medic rotation and resolve engineering-level support cases, feeding learnings back into development.
•Contribute to shared tooling (review, deployment, and test tooling) that SMX is building for other Camunda teams to adopt.

•Experience running and operating on-prem/self-hosted software on Docker.
•Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tools.
•Working knowledge of the Go programming language.
•Exposure to cloud infrastructure/IaC (Terraform, Crossplane).
