Requirements
- •8+ years of experience leading large-scale events
- •At least 3 years managing and developing high-performing event teams
- •Experience delivering flagship conferences, executive events, product launches, and sponsored industry events in technology, fintech, financial services, or startup environments
- •Ability to develop and execute strategic event programmes driving measurable business outcomes
- •Experience managing significant event budgets, commercial negotiations, and vendor relationships
- •Strong people leadership skills with coaching and team scaling experience
- •Exceptional programme and project management skills
- •Excellent stakeholder management skills with senior executive partnership experience
- •Strong commercial mindset with experience measuring event performance, ROI, and business impact
- •Outstanding communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- •Experience creating premium event experiences for executive audiences, enterprise customers, or financial institutions
What You'll Do
- •Lead, develop, and mentor a global team of event professionals
- •Define and execute global event strategy
- •Plan and deliver flagship conference SmartCon and presence at major industry events
- •Deliver executive experiences through customer events, product launches, networking receptions, and strategic announcements
- •Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, Executive Leadership, Finance, Legal, and Procurement for event planning and execution
- •Manage annual event budgets, vendor relationships, and commercial negotiations
- •Establish scalable event planning processes, governance, and operational standards
- •Measure event success through KPIs, attendee engagement, pipeline influence, and executive feedback
- •Ensure events meet brand quality, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance
