Requirements
- •12+ years of progressive tax experience in a corporate tax, Big Four, or law firm environment
- •CPA, JD, or Master’s in Taxation (or equivalent advanced degree)
- •Proven track record leading corporate tax strategy, planning, and compliance in a complex, global organization
- •Deep expertise in U.S. federal, state, and international tax
- •Experience with international structuring, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions
- •Strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate tax complexity into business decisions
- •Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-tax stakeholders
- •Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams
- •Hands-on operator who can dive into technical analysis while also leading at a strategic level
- •High degree of ownership, judgment, and attention to detail
What You'll Do
- •Lead corporate tax strategy across U.S. federal, state, and international jurisdictions
- •Provide tax structuring guidance for corporate investments, transactions, entity formations, and reorganizations
- •Partner with Finance and Legal on tax implications of M&A, capital markets activity, and cross-border operations
- •Oversee legal entity structures, including subsidiaries and holding companies
- •Lead intercompany structuring and transfer pricing considerations to support global operations
- •Monitor legislative developments and proactively adapt strategies to ensure compliance and optimization
- •Evaluate and support tax positions to ensure technical defensibility and alignment with business objectives
- •Provide tax guidance on digital asset activities, including token issuance, staking, liquidity provision, and other blockchain-based transactions
- •Oversee all aspects of corporate tax compliance, including income tax, indirect tax, and information reporting
- •Design and maintain strong internal controls and scalable tax processes
- •Ensure audit readiness and high-quality documentation across all jurisdictions
- •Partner with Accounting on tax provision (ASC 740) and financial reporting requirements
- •Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and support governance standards across entities
- •Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and legal counsel
- •Provide clear direction and oversight to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables
- •Evaluate external recommendations and drive decision-making across competing viewpoints
- •Build and lead a high-performing tax function, including processes, systems, and team development
- •Drive cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Treasury, and business teams
- •Lead complex, multi-threaded projects from planning through execution
- •Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on corporate tax matters

- •Experience in or strong understanding of digital assets, blockchain, or web3-related business models and evolving regulatory frameworks
