Requirements
- •Seasoned engineer with experience in Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript
- •Deep experience with email and calendar platforms including IMAP, sync protocols, calendar APIs
- •Fluent in real-time and async distributed systems such as WebRTC, WebSockets, queues, streaming
- •Experience with AI in real-time workflows including live transcription, voice agents, or in-the-loop AI features
- •Familiarity with telephony providers, codecs, retries, eventual consistency
- •Experience working with AI tools in daily workflow
What You'll Do
- •Overhaul how Close syncs email and calendars
- •Take voice agents further into the call
- •Solve inbound call handling and routing
- •Build native scheduling capabilities
- •Design human orchestration of an agentic workforce
- •Push connect rates and answer rates
- •Move streaming and event substrate forward
