Requirements
- •5-7+ years experience in partner/channel sales including recruiting, onboarding, enabling, and growing partners
- •Experience owning ~$1.5M+ in annual revenue responsibility with knowledge of KPIs such as activation rates, sell-through frequency, and pipeline coverage ratios
- •Ability to prospect and recruit new high-value partners and nurture existing ones
- •Consultative approach to coaching partners by understanding their business model and helping them sell more effectively
- •Strong business acumen with knowledge of partner economics, incentive design, tiering strategies, and activation models
What You'll Do
- •Own a portfolio of ~150 partners and their revenue output, develop account plans, run regular business reviews, and be directly accountable for the partner-sourced revenue number
- •Recruit and onboard 15-30 new partners per quarter, identify partners who fit Close's ideal partner profile, get them trained, and get them to their first deal in under 60 days
- •Turn activation into a repeatable motion by figuring out what makes a partner go from signed up to actually selling and build systems to make that happen at scale
- •Enable partners to sell Close effectively through product training, sales playbooks, demo support, competitive positioning, and deal strategy, coaching partners
- •Coordinate and co-sell with Close's direct sales and customer success teams, build internal relationships and processes to make co-selling work
- •Build the playbook for managing partner relationships including tiering strategies, engagement cadences, incentive structures, and reporting
