Requirements
- •5+ years of experience building modern back-end systems for Senior 1 & 2 level candidates
- •8+ years of experience for Staff level candidates
- •Professional Python experience preferred or working knowledge with desire to work with Python
- •Experience building web APIs that are Internet facing or support high volume loads
- •Hands-on production experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or similar data stores
- •Experience designing, scaling, debugging, and optimizing systems for speed and reliability
- •Participation in code reviews and providing code quality suggestions
- •Care about craftsmanship of code and systems
- •Ability to speak and write in English
- •Located in the USA (ET, CT, MT, PT)
What You'll Do
- •Conceiving, designing, building, and launching new user-facing features
- •Implementing new AI features to turbocharge customers’ daily tasks
- •Improving the performance and scalability of GraphQL and REST APIs
- •Improving sync of millions of sales emails and calendar events each month
- •Working with Twilio's API, WebSockets, and WebRTC to improve calling features
- •Building user-facing analytics features providing actionable insights based on sales activity data
- •Improving Elasticsearch-backed search features
- •Improving internal messaging infrastructure using streaming technologies like Kafka and Redis
- •Building and enhancing integrations with other SaaS platforms like Google’s G Suite, Zapier, and web conferencing providers
- •Enhancing web app with real-time updates powered by GraphQL Subscriptions
- •Leveraging latest AI LLMs from providers like OpenAI, Groq and AssemblyAI
- •Managing large scale data processing needs including billions of Mongo documents, millions of PostgreSQL rows, terabytes of logs, billions of OTEL spans, millions of events per day, tens of thousands of docker containers, millions of minutes of call recordings, and petabytes of network traffic
