Requirements
- •JD from a U.S. accredited law school
- •7–15 years of experience in legal practice, in-house, at a firm, or both
- •Experience counseling product, research, or engineering teams on legal questions related to AI development and deployment
- •Fluency in privacy, IP, data licensing, consumer protection, and international AI regulatory landscape
- •Comfortable providing clear and actionable advice in legal grey areas
- •Experience with AI-native legal practice and workflows
- •Exceptional writing skills, precise, plain, and compelling
What You'll Do
- •Be the go-to counsel for data and research teams on legal questions inside model development and design frameworks for fast research
- •Partner with product teams to ship products and features that delight users
- •Draft and review consumer-facing terms, policies, disclosures, and marketing materials
- •Build and expand the privacy program to deepen customer trust
- •Stay ahead of international AI legal frameworks and translate developments into actionable principles and policies
- •Develop expertise on legal questions defining AI and advance company and field thinking
- •Build AI-native legal workflows and systems to scale team impact

- •Hands-on experience at a foundation model company or AI research lab
- •Depth in one or more emerging AI regulatory regimes (EU AI Act, US states, UK, APAC)
