Requirements
- •3–5 years in Developer Relations, Community Management, Technical Event Production, or related field
- •Experience running developer-facing events and community programs
- •Proven track record of producing technical events from concept through post-event measurement
- •Experience growing and sustaining a developer community
- •Technical proficiency with JavaScript or Python and familiarity with API-first development
- •Comfortable using AI tools daily and building with AI
- •Based in San Francisco with ability to travel ~25% for conferences and team gatherings
- •High autonomy and ability to design and drive outcomes independently
What You'll Do
- •Run the full lifecycle of developer relations events including planning, execution, and post-event follow-up
- •Establish and maintain a regular cadence of in-person programming in the Bay Area
- •Design hands-on workshop formats to activate developers to make their first API call
- •Manage the health and growth of Deepgram's developer community across multiple platforms
- •Identify, cultivate, and activate the most engaged developers into a Champions program
- •Track event-to-activation conversion and report on impact
- •Document repeatable event playbooks and community engagement patterns
- •Coordinate with Field Marketing, Partnerships, and Advocacy teams for event execution
Nice to Have
- •Experience producing large-scale developer events (50–200+ attendees) including logistics and venue management
- •Portfolio of hands-on technical workshops with measurable activation outcomes
- •Experience with community platforms and analytics, including custom tooling or automation
- •Familiarity with WebSockets, WebRTC, or real-time audio technologies
- •Experience coordinating partnerships for co-produced events or programs
- •Experience designing or running developer champions, MVP, or ambassador programs
- •Ability to produce event recaps, community spotlights, or short-form social content
