Requirements
- •10+ years of product management experience with at least 5 years on developer tools, infrastructure, or platform products
- •Deep technical fluency including understanding architecture diagrams, container and VM runtimes, AI agents, LLMs, and protocol-level tool connectivity
- •Proven ability to ship 0-to-1 products from idea through launch in fast-moving environments
- •Builder mentality with ability to prototype, sketch architectures, and test early ideas with customers
- •Strong product sense and UX instincts caring deeply about developer experience
- •Strategic thinking with execution follow-through able to set multi-year vision and write specs for next sprint
- •Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in fast-moving, unclear environments
- •Excellent communication skills including writing product briefs, presenting to executives, and debating technical tradeoffs
- •Experience growing and monetizing products at scale including pricing, packaging, and go-to-market decisions
What You'll Do
- •Own the product strategy and define vision, roadmap, and success metrics for Docker’s AI & Agent Platform
- •Build the product from zero including writing specs, prototyping, validating with customers, and iterating
- •Drive product development from conception through delivery including writing requirements, scoping, prioritizing, shipping iteratively, and measuring outcomes
- •Define how components of the agentic ecosystem fit together including secure execution, tool connectivity, governance, and observability
- •Ensure the platform serves a broad range of users from individual developers to enterprise operators
- •Define the developer experience working with design and engineering
- •Collaborate cross-functionally across Docker for coherent product experiences and go-to-market alignment
- •Influence technical direction partnering with engineering leadership on architecture decisions
- •Represent the customer by engaging directly with developers, enterprises, and partners
- •Overcome blockers and find paths forward when challenges arise
Nice to Have
- •Experience building products in containers, cloud-native, or DevOps space
- •Experience with AI/ML developer tooling or the agentic AI ecosystem
- •Contributions to open source projects
- •Experience building and scaling a business from zero to significant ARR
