Requirements
- •Hands-on experience designing and shipping recommender systems beyond tutorials
- •End-to-end ML ownership from raw data to production monitoring
- •Strong Python skills and MLOps fluency including experiment tracking and model lifecycle management
What You'll Do
- •Analyse user behaviour data to identify high-value personalisation features
- •Design, train, and iterate on recommendation models including collaborative filtering, matrix factorisation, sequence-based and embedding-based approaches
- •Build and maintain end-to-end training and serving pipelines
- •Define and track evaluation metrics offline and online tied to business KPIs
- •Run rigorous A/B tests to benchmark new approaches
- •Own monitoring and observability of deployed models including data drift and latency
- •Contribute reusable user and item features to feature store
Nice to Have
- •Experience with real-time or streaming inference (Kafka, Flink)
- •Familiarity with Databricks and/or Apache Spark
- •Production experience with feature stores like Databricks Feature Store, Hopsworks, Feast
- •Knowledge of two-tower / embedding-based retrieval at scale
- •Familiarity with bandit algorithms or reinforcement learning for online recommendation optimisation
- •Strong business communication skills to translate model results for stakeholders
