Requirements
- •3+ years building community programs with Slack and other platforms
- •5-8+ years experience in tech, ideally SaaS, cybersecurity, or open-source
- •Technically curious and comfortable with product features, APIs, and documentation
- •Active presence on Reddit, GitHub, LinkedIn, or Substack
- •Track record of building scalable engagement programs
- •Ability to work in fast-paced environment and solve problems creatively
- •Strong communication skills and welcoming presence
- •Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success
- •Fluent in English (written and spoken)
What You'll Do
- •Build, engage, and grow a cybersecurity community
- •Serve as first point of contact for community questions
- •Triage and answer product usage questions, troubleshoot issues, escalate to engineering
- •Manage presence across Slack, GitHub, Reddit, LinkedIn, Substack
- •Moderate Slack community and launch ambassador programs
- •Create programs to help users adopt product capabilities
- •Build dedicated spaces for specific roles, regions, and industries
- •Recruit new members and spotlight contributors
- •Drive engagement across multiple community platforms
- •Encourage and surface user feedback to shape product
- •Partner with Product and Engineering teams
- •Scale self-service and peer support with moderators and contributors
- •Plan and run virtual meetups, webinars, AMAs, and summits
- •Track, measure, and optimize community engagement and satisfaction
Nice to Have
- •Experience with open-source project communities (GitHub Discussions, Discord, forums)
- •Familiarity with threat intelligence and exposure management concepts, MITRE ATT&CK or related frameworks
- •Experience with user advocacy or ambassador programs
