Requirements
- •8+ years of experience in General / GL Accounting
- •Strong hands-on experience across GL, AP and AR
- •Experience managing month-end closing, reconciliations, accruals, provisions and intercompany transactions
- •Proven hands-on experience with Pennylane and Odoo
- •Experience working in an international, multi-entity and multi-currency environment
- •Comfortable working with accounting operations across different jurisdictions; exposure to France, the US and/or Australia is highly valued
- •Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
- •Ability to quickly understand existing processes and work autonomously
- •Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced and evolving environment
- •Fluent English; French is a plus
What You'll Do
- •Maintain accurate GL entries across French, US and Australian entities
- •Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and provisions
- •Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- •Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- •Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across entities
- •Support audit requests and ensure accounting documentation is accurate and complete
- •Process supplier invoices and ensure appropriate coding and approval
- •Create and review new suppliers and reconcile supplier accounts
- •Manage expense reports and respond to internal and external accounting queries
- •Issue customer invoices and support collection activities
- •Reconcile customer accounts and monitor aging balances
- •Support revenue reconciliation
- •Support the Finance team during the transition from Pennylane/Odoo to NetSuite
- •Perform parallel testing and validate accounting flows and data
- •Identify discrepancies between systems and support reconciliation
- •Provide additional operational capacity so the core Finance team can focus on the ERP implementation
- •Leverage AI and automation tools where relevant to improve accounting workflows and productivity
Nice to Have
- •Hands-on NetSuite experience
- •Experience supporting an ERP implementation or migration
- •Experience in a Tech, SaaS or scale-up environment
- •Experience with multi-currency accounting and consolidation
- •Comfortable leveraging AI-powered tools and automation to improve finance workflows and productivity
