Requirements
- •Extensive production experience with Go
- •Proven track record of architecting and shipping large-scale services
- •Ability to design and own scalable backend systems
- •Expertise in system reliability, performance optimization, data quality, and observability
- •Experience designing and owning APIs (REST, gRPC, or similar)
- •Experience coordinating initiatives across functional boundaries
- •Deep expertise in instrumentation, analytics, data systems, or similar infrastructure
What You'll Do
- •Architect and guide the design of a unified Go-based instrumentation service
- •Own the strategy for handling, validating, and improving instrumentation data quality
- •Coordinate mentorship and training initiatives with product development teams
- •Set reliability and turnaround standards for systems enabling usage billing and instrumentation
- •Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across research and development and enterprise data teams
- •Own key architectural choices balancing ease of use, reliability, and correctness
