Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- •10 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS products and platforms
- •Experience selling to State, Local, and Education (SLED) clients in Michigan or Ohio
What You'll Do
- •Build executive relationships with local government customers to influence long-term technology and business decisions
- •Become an expert on customers' organizations, analyzing cloud technology strategies, growth plans, financial structures, and engaged landscape
- •Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities while working cross-functionally with internal teams and Google Partners
- •Manage business cycles, presenting to C-level executives and partnering terms
- •Drive business development and operational excellence at scale, utilizing accurate forecasting to achieve goals across the entire business cycle
- •Focus on new client acquisition as well as the primary Field Sales Representative for local accounts in Ohio and Michigan
Nice to Have
- •Experience selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Investigative Tools, or Applications Software across the public sector, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes
- •Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business
- •Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations
- •Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams
- •Experience working with customer engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases
