Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
•6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
•Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
•Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering, on-premise infrastructure engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.

•Collaborate with the Sales team to uncover and qualify Google Cloud and AI-first opportunities, proactively addressing technical objections around adoption, and developing strategic pathways to clear technical blockers.
•Own the technical relationship with State and Local Government customers, leading immersive product briefings on Google Cloud and Google's GenAI portfolio, driving innovative proof-of-concept work, and orchestrating specialized technical resources.
•Demonstrate and rapidly prototype intelligent integrations, bringing autonomous agents and AI-powered workflows to life within complex customer and partner environments.
•Design and recommend AI-optimized enterprise architectures and integration strategies, laying secure platform and data infrastructure foundations using Google Cloud best practices.
•Travel to customer sites, industry conferences, and related events to advocate Google Public Sector's aim and engage with government leaders.
•Partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud and Google Public Sector offerings for state/local government and education customers.
•Lead proofs of concept and guide technical strategy to build proactive, autonomous AI agents and intelligent data ecosystems.
•Engage with government leaders to translate academic requirements into visionary, automated, and practical architectures tailored for the public sector.

•Experience with state local public sector clients including state, county, and local municipal agencies.
•Experience in migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
•Experience with security concepts such as encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and engagement testing.
•Experience with networking concepts such as software-defined networking, routing, virtual private networks, load balancers and firewalls.
•Experience creating demos and solution creation using generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and services.
•Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Google Cloud/IT technology space.
