Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- •6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development.
- •Experience working with public policy teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- •Experience with technical infrastructure developments.
- •Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
What You'll Do
- •Build and maintain critical relationships with government officials, community leaders, and key opinion formers to secure a positive, sustainable, and collaborative operating environment for our facilities.
- •Develop, lead, and execute complex, multi-state public affairs strategies and campaigns that proactively safeguard the data center life cycle across both existing and future markets.
- •Serve as a key ambassador and advocate for Google’s priorities, amplifying economic, energy, sustainability, and social contributions to position presence as a local team for growth and innovation.
- •Partner closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive data center market development projects from concept to completion.
- •Translate corporate and technical initiatives into tangible, highly visible local benefits that align with and support community priorities.
