Requirements
- •6+ years building modern web apps using React and frameworks like Remix, React Router, NextJS, or similar
- •Experience building production apps with strong attention to UI quality and performance
- •Great taste in design and UX — you care about layout, responsiveness, and the final polish
- •Comfortable in fast-moving teams with ambiguity and lots of responsibility
- •Not afraid to make decisions, lead architecture, and advocate for best practices
- •Comfortable owning features end-to-end, including rollout and support
What You'll Do
- •Build and maintain the core customer product at Kota — this includes both employer and employee-facing UIs
- •Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to ship new features and improvements quickly and responsibly
- •Shape frontend architecture, performance, and maintainability for long-term success
- •Build reusable components and patterns that make the product easier to scale and maintain
- •Ensure a top-notch user experience — fast, intuitive, and accessible
- •Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and debugging production issues
- •Own your code all the way to production — including performance, error handling, and observability
