Requirements
- •3-6+ years in senior product management, with significant experience owning growth, engagement, or consumer UX
- •Track record of moving acquisition, activation, and retention metrics
- •Experience designing and shipping onboarding flows, checkout experiences, and engagement loops
- •Strong product instinct for what makes people come back — habits, hooks, and value delivery moments
- •Ability to write detailed, unambiguous product requirements
- •Experience with mobile product development — mobile-first mindset
- •Comfortable with funnel analytics and cohort analysis
- •Experience running structured experiments and interpreting results
- •Familiarity with lifecycle marketing tools (Braze or equivalent)
- •Strong opinions on localization, internationalization, and building for global audiences
- •Senior enough to own a domain with minimal direction
- •Strong written communicator
- •Experience working across design, engineering, and marketing in a fast-moving environment
- •User empathy for first-time prop traders
- •Crypto-native or deeply curious about crypto and prop trading
What You'll Do
- •Drive the growth and engagement roadmap within your domain
- •Own the end-to-end trader lifecycle: from first touch through checkout, onboarding, funded account, and repeat purchase
- •Lead the product strategy for trader engagement and retention — competitions, achievements, rewards, in-app notifications, and loyalty programs
- •Own mobile product strategy across both Breakout Prop and Kraken Prop — signup flow, payments, push notifications, and in-app engagement
- •Partner with design to establish a cohesive Breakout design system — seamless UX from acquisition to trading
- •Work with marketing and growth on localization, affiliate programs, and expanding prop into new markets
- •Own onboarding improvements — in-terminal education, progressive disclosure, and reducing time-to-first-trade for new users
- •Set the bar for what "done" means on growth and UX features — requirements, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and post-ship iteration
