Requirements
- •2-5 years of experience building customer-facing products at a software company with a high engineering bar
- •Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals, with experience across the full stack (Browser technologies, Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL)
- •Track record of driving complex, end-to-end features with visible impact on the product
- •Product sensibility: care about UX, speed, and polish, and push back when something doesn't feel right
- •Comfortable working without heavy PM overhead; can help to shape the problem, not just implement a solution
- •High ownership mentality: self-directed, full-lifecycle builder who takes a feature from idea to shipped
- •Thrives in a remote, async-first environment with a lean, high-output team
- •Experience at a startup or a company with a genuinely high engineering bar
What You'll Do
- •Work closely with founders, product, and design to implement new concepts and ideas
- •Build AI-powered functionality into the core of Linear
- •Update our collaborative content editor used across all internal surfaces
- •Build new user-facing features with beautiful and scalable UI components
- •Obsessively improve application performance
- •Refine our software development processes to keep the team operating at high velocity
Nice to Have
- •Experience with Agentic workflow system utilizing temporal
- •Experience with proprietary websocket data sync engine
- •Experience with React, MobX, StyleX on the frontend
- •Experience with extensive, highly-trafficked GraphQL API and SDK
- •Experience with Node, PostgreSQL, Temporal, and Redis on the backend
- •Experience with Google Cloud and Kubernetes
