Requirements
- •Minimum 7+ years of significant event planning experience
- •Ownership of complex events from conception to completion
- •Management of small and large-scale, multi-day events
- •Comfortable working off-hours and flexible schedules
- •Ability to be onsite and serve as point of contact for events
- •Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
- •Experience with events across multiple geographic locations and time zones
- •Ability to navigate cultural or language barriers
- •Exceptional time management, communication, project management, and prioritization skills
- •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure
- •Knowledge of fabrication, event technology, AV production, and digital integration
What You'll Do
- •Own the strategy, planning, and execution of the Monad Foundation’s global event presence
- •Build strong vendor and agency relationships
- •Use data and insights to measure and improve event outcomes
- •Create thoughtful, memorable event experiences for diverse audiences
- •Identify opportunities for long-term, recurring, and scalable events
- •Plan and execute hosted and sponsored events from small gatherings to large conferences
- •Define event goals, OKRs, success metrics, and conduct postmortems
- •Establish and manage event budgets and timelines
- •Negotiate vendor contracts and manage financial reconciliation
- •Manage relationships with vendors, agencies, and external stakeholders
- •Collaborate with leadership and internal stakeholders to maximize ROI
- •Adapt events to regional, cultural, and venue-specific requirements
- •Develop and maintain operational standards and playbooks for events
- •Maintain high quality across all stages of event planning and execution
- •Drive event workstreams to completion with resourcefulness
