Requirements
- •At least 2 years experience in Financial Crime/Compliance analytical or investigations roles
- •Experience with blockchain analytics solutions such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, CipherTrace, Scorechain
- •Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- •Ability to handle shifting priorities and work in a dynamic environment
- •Ability to work independently and learn new tools and technology
- •Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- •Fluent in English
What You'll Do
- •Conduct transaction monitoring reviews to detect potential money laundering, terrorist financing, or illicit activities and escalate for additional review
- •Utilize transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics solutions to analyze and assess suspicious activity or patterns
- •Review blockchain wallet screening and KYT alerts/investigations to determine risk indicators
- •Conduct open source searches related to customers, counterparties, and transactions
- •Analyze transactional activity and use judgment to make alert dispositions with conclusions
- •Prepare clear and concise alert and case dispositions for Suspicious Matter Report (SMR) consideration
- •Draft Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) as required
- •Discuss unusual findings with team leads and compliance heads to determine proper actions
- •Ensure transaction monitoring alerts, investigations, and SMRs are completed within deadlines and SLAs
Nice to Have
- •ACAMS, ACFCS or ICA accreditation
- •Prior experience in fast-paced fintech or cryptocurrency companies
- •Blockchain analytics solution certifications (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, CipherTrace, Scorechain)
- •Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach
- •Ability to feed rule/investigation output back into AML Programme
- •Interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and financial crime detection
