Requirements
- •Strong systems administration skills
- •Knowledge of containers and virtual machines
- •Experience with Linux terminal
- •Platform engineering/SRE experience at startups or fast growing tech companies
- •Experience with some of the tech stack or ability to upskill quickly
- •Experience working in a regulated industry
- •Confident working with monitoring and logging of complex systems at scale
- •Experience working on complex projects
- •Ability to use AI agents for research and problem solving
- •Ability to work collaboratively with different teams (Security, Data, Engineering)
- •Understanding of reliability structures, theories, principles, and best practices
- •Experience with JavaScript codebases and frameworks such as Typescript, Node.JS and React
What You'll Do
- •Improving the maintainability and usability of Infrastructure-as-code
- •Adding self-service functionality for deploying and operating infrastructure
- •Lifecycling and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and GCP infrastructure
- •Build and maintain dashboards, monitoring & alerting mechanisms with Datadog
- •Implement new technologies on top of Kubernetes to ensure scalability
- •Develop and integrate automation solutions to improve reliability and recovery
- •Design and track metrics for site uptime and performance
- •Collaborate closely with other engineering functions to provide feedback from environments
- •Engage with new business units and acquisitions to support and enhance their infrastructure
- •Support Engineering to deliver better software faster and more safely
