Requirements
- •Degree in Accounting or Finance
- •10+ years of relevant experience in the financial services, fund management, fintech, or crypto industries
- •Deep understanding of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations
- •Strong capability to translate complex data into accurate financial accounting and reporting
- •The skillset to work within the demands of a fast-paced startup environment
- •Experience leading complex projects end to end involving multiple stakeholders
- •Ability to exercise sound judgment and clearly communicate outcomes to senior management
- •Self-starting problem solver, able to identify and execute new tasks proactively and complete projects with minimal direction
What You'll Do
- •Oversee accounting and financial reporting operations for regional subsidiaries and liquidity funds
- •Manage month-end closing, including revenue recognition, cost allocation, Security Fund balance reconciliation, and intercompany transactions for local entities or liquidity funds, in alignment with group reporting requirements
- •Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support external audits, regulatory compliance, and internal management reporting
- •Further develop internal control frameworks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion
- •Develop effective and automated processes for financial reporting and analytics
- •Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives
- •Proactively manage compliance with liquidation fund reporting requirements, including accounting, tax, and regulatory notifications across relevant jurisdictions
Nice to Have
- •Master degree (or equivalent) or accounting certification
- •Experience working across time zones and cross cultural teams
- •Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange
- •Passionate about blockchain technology and the crypto payments space
