Requirements
- •8–12 years of progressive finance experience including at least 3 years in senior FP&A or strategic finance role
- •Capital markets exposure including IPO or pre-IPO process or investor-facing finance role at publicly listed or late-stage company
- •Ability to author financial content for institutional investors
- •Investment banking or strategy consulting background with strong financial modelling and investor presentation skills
- •Hands-on FP&A or strategic finance experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and Board-level reporting
- •Strong executive communication skills to present financial analysis to senior leadership and external audiences
- •Multi-currency, multi-entity financial modelling experience across at least two major regions
- •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
What You'll Do
- •Support the end-to-end close lifecycle for San Jose operations including journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and analysis
- •Manage month-end and year-end close activities ensuring compliance with internal policies and tax regulations
- •Manage cross-functional queries and audit documentation
- •Identify opportunities to automate workflows and streamline close processes
- •Own the company's financial roadmap including annual operating plan and rolling forecasts
- •Serve as primary financial content author for investor-facing materials and investor engagement
- •Build and own the Annual Operating Plan covering all finance units and business segments
- •Lead quarterly rolling re-forecast cycle incorporating market and business updates
- •Establish monthly financial review cadence with finance unit heads
- •Lead construction of investor-facing financial content including presentations and registration statements
- •Build and maintain investor-grade financial models
- •Develop the company's financial equity story with CFO and advisors
- •Build and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts and institutional investors
- •Prepare quarterly earnings materials post-IPO
- •Deploy and manage embedded Finance Business Partners across business units
- •Own OpEx budget management across corporate functions
- •Build and manage strategic investment review process
- •Provide financial analysis for new market entries, product launches, M&A, and partnerships
- •Produce monthly and quarterly financial packages for Board and Management Team
- •Lead FP&A input into monthly Management Team Reporting
- •Support CEO and CFO in Board meetings and investor committee presentations
- •Build and lead FP&A team including hiring and development
- •Implement FP&A technology stack including Anaplan, NetSuite, data warehouse, and Looker
- •Design and implement KPI framework for company and Board
- •Establish monthly operating cadence across business units
Nice to Have
- •MBA or CFA is a plus but not required
- •Pre-IPO experience supporting full IPO journey from financial model construction to S-1 filing and post-listing earnings cadence
- •Proficiency with Anaplan, NetSuite, SQL and modern FP&A tools
- •Fintech or crypto domain knowledge including understanding of digital asset revenue models or experience at high-growth fintech or technology company
