Requirements
- •Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- •Deep technical foundation in IFRS and US GAAP
- •CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent certification
- •15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in cryptocurrency exchange, fintech, or financial services
- •Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset accounting
- •Expertise in financial regulations of various global jurisdictions (e.g., NYDFS, MAS, VARA, MiCA, FCA)
- •Proven experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and automation tools
- •Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills with ability to influence at all levels
- •Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- •Experience managing multi-currency operations and intercompany transactions
- •Ability to lead and develop teams in multiple jurisdictions and work across different time zones
What You'll Do
- •Lead global finance operations including accounting and reporting, month end close, financial controls, regulatory reporting, local audit, and regulatory reporting
- •Lead a team of 30+ professionals across 15 countries and ensure quality, timeliness, and defensibility of outputs
- •Partner with regional C-suite on business strategy, exchange listings, infrastructure investment, and M&A
- •Provide financial evaluation for new products, markets, and licenses including unit economics, capital requirements, tax and regulatory cost, downside cases
- •Tighten controls and risk frameworks across crypto and fiat including internal controls, SOX readiness, audit, and global regulatory obligations
- •Own external relationships with regulators, banking partners, and payment providers
- •Standardize global finance policies, reporting architecture, and consolidation processes
- •Participate in leadership committees at global and local entity levels including boards and governance bodies
- •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional financial regulations and cryptocurrency market developments
