Requirements
- •8+ years of experience in visual design with a portfolio demonstrating concept-driven work, art direction, and brand-led product design.
- •Proven track record leading and developing a design team including hiring and mentoring.
- •Deep expertise in art direction with ability to define and maintain cohesive visual systems across multiple design elements and scalability.
- •Background blending agency and in-house product experience comfortable in campaign and product modes.
- •Strong understanding of brand strategy translation into product experiences and ability to architect brand-compliant and scalable visual systems.
- •Systems thinker and strategic operator with experience in tiered prioritization, reusable frameworks, tokens, and tradeoffs.
- •Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into creative workflows for ideation, production, and systematic design work.
What You'll Do
- •Build the visual systems layer defining and maintaining the visual language across illustration, motion, iconography, color, typography, and layout as scalable, programmable systems.
- •Bridge brand and product by building a working model between Visual Systems and Brand Design organization based on co-creation.
- •Set creative direction with a strong, opinionated point of view on art direction, design rationale, and visual storytelling.
- •Lead and grow a global team of visual designers, mentoring and developing them across experience levels.
- •Build reusable creative infrastructure including scalable templates, token-driven visual frameworks, and component-level creative guidance.
Nice to Have
- •Experience in crypto, fintech, or other fast-moving, highly regulated industries.
- •Experience leading design across globally distributed teams, particularly in APAC.
- •Fluency in Mandarin for working with cross-functional partners and stakeholders in the region.
