Requirements
- •Strong backend engineering skills with Python, SQL, and complex data modeling

- •Ability to handle edge cases, error handling, rollbacks, and retries effectively
- •Self-driven with experience leading major projects or shipping impressive side projects
What You'll Do
- •Scaling the billing system to $100M+ revenue by the end of 2026 and beyond
- •Building billing primitives flexible enough to support new pricing models without rearchitecting
- •Making usage reporting and limiting near-realtime
- •Turning usage and raw invoice data into actionable internal reports, accurate forecasts, and compliant financials
- •Ensuring billing infrastructure is modular, fast to iterate on, and reliable
- •Implementing a new ledger-based revenue model and rebuilding dashboards and investor reports
- •Making billing the source of truth for pricing, subscriptions, and invoicing
- •Shipping multiple pricing launches and changes quarterly
Nice to Have
- •Experience building and scaling usage-based billing systems
- •Interest in revenue modeling, forecasting, and accounting ledgers
- •Familiarity with terms like Q2C, AR, B2R, GAAP, ASC 606, NRR
