Requirements
- •1–2+ years managing or formally leading a BDR/SDR team as a player-coach with responsibility for hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- •Prior individual quota-carrying experience with prospecting, booking meetings, and ideally closing deals.
- •Ability to think in data, systems, and loops; experience building or improving prospecting workflows and reporting.
- •Hands-on experience with Clay.com including building tables, enrichment workflows, and automated sequences.
- •Salesforce proficiency including building reports, creating custom fields, and managing lead/contact data hygiene.
- •Experience using AI tools (LLMs, AI writing assistants, workflow automation) to improve prospecting efficiency with specific examples.
- •Excellent written communication skills suitable for async-first company culture.
- •Comfort with ambiguity and distributed ownership in a build role.
What You'll Do
- •Own the outbound pipeline engine and iterate on targeting strategy, account selection criteria, and prioritization.
- •Manage and develop a team of BDRs, coaching daily on messaging, objection handling, qualification discipline, and outreach quality.
- •Run weekly 1:1s focused on skill development and build ramp plans for new hires.
- •Build and maintain tooling and automation layers including Clay.com workflows and Salesforce enrichment processes.
- •Own metrics and reporting, build dashboards, track leading indicators, and produce weekly pipeline generation reports.
- •Coach qualification discipline and implement a qualification framework for meetings passed to AEs.
- •Iterate on messaging and channels, A/B test outreach sequences across multiple platforms, and maintain a living playbook.
- •Collaborate with the TAE team on target refinement using feedback loops from AE deal outcomes.
Nice to Have
- •Experience in a product-led sales (PLS) or product-led growth (PLG) company.
- •Familiarity with selling to engineers and engineering managers as primary buyer personas.
- •Experience with PostHog or competing products as a user or seller.
