Requirements
- •8+ years of professional software development experience with a track record of leading medium-to-large projects involving multiple engineers
- •Demonstrated ability to drive projects across the full stack including backend services, data persistence, and modern frontend frameworks like React/TypeScript
- •Proficiency in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred) and relational databases (Postgres)
- •Strong organizational and communication skills including experience with pair programming and translating complex technical concepts for product stakeholders
- •Commitment to continuous learning, perseverance in solving complex problems, strong ownership of outcomes, and excellent collaboration skills within an inclusive engineering culture
What You'll Do
- •Take technical ownership of a product space and deliver high-impact products to market in collaboration with Product Managers and engineers
- •Lead the design and implementation of full-stack and backend solutions
- •Create architectural design documents and proofs of concept to modernize the platform and reduce maintenance overhead
- •Collaborate across teams to define solutions and provide clear direction on technical tradeoffs
- •Become a subject matter expert in team services and champion engineer-led projects to improve stability, performance, and developer experience
- •Foster a culture of collective excellence and facilitate peer-to-peer knowledge sharing across the engineering organization
Nice to Have
- •Experience working with healthcare data standards such as FHIR, HL7v2, or X12, or building integrations with EHR systems
- •Experience with backend technologies like Node.js / TypeScript and REST API design
- •Experience with frontend technologies like React or modern UI frameworks
- •Experience with data and infrastructure tools like Postgres, Redis, AWS
- •Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Sumo Logic, or comparable platforms
- •Experience with DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- •Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude)
- •Comfort working in a fully remote environment with asynchronous and synchronous collaboration
