Requirements
- •8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- •Strong backend foundation with experience building and operating high-scale production systems
- •Proficient in React with frontend development experience
- •Advanced SQL skills beyond basic SELECT and UPDATE
- •Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
- •Understanding of HTTP and browser-server interactions
- •High bar for quality and ability to prioritize scope to deliver value
- •Customer obsession and ability to imagine user perspectives
- •Ability to scope, prioritize, and drive rollout in partnership with Product team
- •Ability to quickly familiarize with and improve existing code
- •Scrappy and biased toward shipping iterative improvements
- •Clear communication skills, both real-time and asynchronous
- •Experience shipping meaningful user-facing features to production and improving them over time
- •Ability to write well-tested code and debug methodically
- •Proactive problem identification and improvement proposals
What You'll Do
- •Design, build, ship, and own end-to-end product features used by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of end-users
- •Work across frontend, backend, and data boundaries to deliver reliable, high-quality systems
- •Take ownership from problem definition through production rollout and long-term maintenance
- •Scope and prioritize work in partnership with the Product team
- •Write high-quality, well-tested code and debug issues methodically
- •Mentor other engineers and provide thoughtful feedback
- •Engage directly with customers to understand impact of work
- •Participate in code reviews, bug bashes, and technical discussions
- •Contribute to architecture discussions and lead initiatives for product and system improvements
