Requirements
- •5+ years of experience as a software engineer designing and maintaining complex/large/growing systems
- •Comfortable writing and debugging SQL
- •Excellent command of at least one mainstream programming language
- •Experience shipping high quality code using good testing practices
- •Ability to collaborate well and communicate effectively in a fully-remote culture
- •Proactive attitude to fix or suggest improvements
- •Versatile and fast learner
What You'll Do
- •Design, build, ship and support end to end features and products
- •Debug and find root causes of production issues
- •Write and debug SQL
- •Ship high quality code using good testing practices
- •Collaborate and communicate effectively in a fully-remote culture
- •Scope and work on projects self-sufficiently
- •Participate in code reviews and improve codebase reliability and quality
- •Understand and improve codebases and products owned by the team
- •Review code, create proposals, and contribute to architectural discussions
- •Contribute to team roadmap and technical direction
- •Mentor other engineers
- •Spec and architect medium-large projects, gather feedback and design validation and rollout plans
- •Influence organization to improve reliability, scalability and performance
