Requirements
- •5+ years of experience shipping production systems
- •Hands-on experience building with LLMs including tool use, structured output, context management, evaluation, orchestration
- •Strong backend fundamentals with experience building reliable, observable, and secure systems
- •Comfortable with ambiguity in early-stage product development
- •Self-directed and able to figure out what needs to be built and ship it
- •Effective communication and collaboration in a fully-remote culture
What You'll Do
- •Build foundational agent infrastructure including orchestration, tool execution, context management, evaluation, and trust layer
- •Ship agent features and get familiar with architecture and APIs
- •Identify and fix reliability or performance gaps
- •Launch new agentic features to developers
- •Own core infrastructure areas such as orchestration, evaluation pipeline, tool framework, or trust/permissions layer
- •Scope and work on projects self-sufficiently
- •Participate in incident response and on-call rotation
- •Improve agent reliability, speed, and capability
- •Build infrastructure for shipping agents
- •Review code, create proposals, and contribute to architectural discussions
- •Ship major products or features
- •Debug complex issues in agent system
- •Initiate improvements for agent products
- •Mentor other engineers
Nice to Have
- •Experience with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs
- •Built agents used by others
- •Experience with evaluation and observability frameworks like Langfuse, Langchain
- •Familiarity with subscription business models, app stores, or developer tools
- •Built Slack integrations or other conversational interfaces
- •Contributions to open-source AI/ML tooling
