Requirements
- •10+ years experience in software development within SaaS industry

What You'll Do
- •Oversee and manage multiple software engineering teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- •Provide mentorship and career development to engineering managers and senior engineers
- •Lead recruitment, hiring, and retention of top engineering talent
- •Foster a positive, inclusive, and innovative engineering culture
- •Encourage proactive responsibility and ownership in resolving client-facing production problems
- •Develop and communicate long-term technical vision and strategy aligned with business goals
- •Collaborate with product management to develop and prioritize engineering roadmap
- •Plan and manage engineering budget balancing project needs and cost constraints
- •Ensure adherence to software development processes and standards including Scrum agile development, automated testing, internationalization, usability, scalability, and service-oriented architecture
- •Continuously assess and refine development processes to increase efficiency and improve collaboration
- •Oversee design and development of advanced software solutions that scale and meet fault tolerance standards
- •Communicate progress, technical challenges, and project outcomes to executive team
- •Align stakeholders on technical initiatives and manage expectations
- •Interface with key clients, partners, and external stakeholders providing technical insight and ensuring smooth delivery of software products
Nice to Have
- •Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- •Experience with web development, web services, and distributed processing models
- •Experience scaling applications in AWS and on-premise
- •Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills
- •Familiarity with agile software development practices such as Kanban and Scrum
- •Proven track record of creating scalable software that scales to dozens or hundreds of servers in a distributed, fault tolerant manner
- •Experience with e-commerce, retail, online marketplaces, or digital marketing
- •Databricks experience including medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold)
- •SQL Server background
- •Experience building internal data products or self-serve analytics platforms
- •Exposure to LLM tooling, vector databases, or data pipelines that feed agentic systems
- •BI tooling proficiency (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI)
