Requirements
- •5+ years in field/corporate events management within technology, software or e-commerce with focus on North America events
- •Experience in events and field marketing within the e-commerce sector
- •Experience leading and executing industry events like Shoptalk, NRF, or eTail
- •Successful ownership and management of event budgets
- •Proven experience planning and executing events with defined budgets, objectives, and KPIs
- •Strong understanding of core marketing metrics and their application
- •Experience with event management tools such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event platforms
- •Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
- •Ability to collaborate effectively with senior cross-functional stakeholders including Sales and Client Success
What You'll Do
- •Design and execute a dynamic portfolio of events including client conferences, industry trade shows, internal company gatherings, executive dinners, and multi-city roadshows
- •Drive localized marketing strategies to generate demand and accelerate the sales pipeline
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful events
- •Develop regional strategies and optimize processes
- •Plan and execute a broad range of events with clear objectives, tracking, and measurement
- •Lead event execution including budgeting, marketing, logistics, vendor management, and post-event analysis
- •Track key event metrics such as attendance, leads generated, opportunities, pipeline generated, and client feedback
- •Present actionable insights to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
- •Leverage company websites, online content, industry trends, and emerging technologies to enhance client experience and event effectiveness
Nice to Have
- •Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
- •Experience supporting events in North America across diverse industries and market segments
- •Experience working directly with sales to drive measurable results
- •Preferably US east-coast based
