Requirements

•3+ years in developer relations or developer community at a developer tools company or 2+ years in AI Engineering role
•Ability to write code, ship demos, and speak credibly with developers
•Active use of AI coding tools and ability to discuss AI-assisted development authentically
•Understanding of web development and current state of web dev tools and AI transformation
•Understanding of community dynamics and experience building or growing healthy communities
•Strong public speaking skills, comfortable on stage, in workshops, and informal conversations
•Organized to run multiple programs simultaneously and people-oriented to recognize contributors
•Opinionated about which communities and events matter

•Ship developer content such as blog posts, use cases, demos, and videos for builders who use AI
•Build AI-first workflows for the Developer Community team, including Skills and plug-ins that help the team work 10x faster
•Maintain Sanity's presence in developer communities online and offline including Discord, X, GitHub, Reddit, conferences, meetups
•Travel 20-30% for conferences, meetups, and community events

•Experience running a community program
•Existing presence in developer communities relevant to Sanity (JavaScript, Next.js, content tooling, AI dev tools)
•Track record of empowering developers and showing what you’ve built
•Background with headless CMS, content platforms, or AI dev tooling
