    Requirements

    • •Owned a production model lifecycle including training or fine-tuning and production rollout
    • •Designed and built multi-step agentic systems that are reliable, observable, and cost-bounded
    • •Strong evaluation judgment with experience building datasets, baselines, error taxonomies, and release criteria
    • •Ability to make quality, latency, and cost tradeoffs using model selection, prompting, retrieval, caching, distillation, and fine-tuning
    • •Operate autonomously on ambiguous, high-technical-risk problems
    • •Strong software engineering skills with ability to ship production services
    • •Comfortable with Go, TypeScript, GraphQL, Postgres, Docker or ability to learn quickly
    • •Fluent with agentic coding tools and understand their outputs
    • •Experience working in async-first, multi-service, fast-paced remote environments
    • •Customer and product-driven mindset
    • •Pragmatic approach favoring robust and simple solutions

    What You'll Do

    • •Design and harden multi-step, tool-using agent loops for agentic experiences
    • •Craft and apply evaluations to measure product changes and quality
    • •Select, upgrade, and fine-tune machine learning models
    • •Engineer retrieval and context systems to ground models in customer code
    • •Manage cost and latency as product features through profiling and optimization
    • •Ship production services and own end-to-end product slices
    • •Set technical direction and standards for agent engineering and agentic systems
    • •Mentor and up-level teammates in building with models
    • •Participate in on-call support rotation

    Nice to Have

    • •Experience shipping LLM-powered or agentic developer-facing products
    • •Experience fine-tuning, distilling, or training models to meet cost, latency, or quality targets in production
    • •Experience with retrieval, ranking, embeddings, or search relevance
    • •Experience working directly with enterprise customers and translating needs into product
    • •Experience mentoring or up-leveling engineers, especially in agent engineering

    Benefits

    • •Above-market salaries
    • •Meaningful equity
