Requirements
- •7+ years of software engineering experience focused on developer productivity, infrastructure, or platform engineering
- •Passion for developer experience and productivity
- •Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Python, Rust, and shell scripting
- •Experience with CI/CD systems and pipeline optimization (e.g. Github Actions, ArgoCD, Octopus, Harness)
- •Experience with local development environments and reproducibility (e.g. devcontainers, Nix, Docker)
- •Experience with containerization and image optimization
- •Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as coding agents and IDE assistants
- •Experience with test infrastructure and orchestration, ephemeral end-to-end environments, flaky-test management, mutation or chaos testing
- •Experience with code review and developer workflow tooling and automation
- •Experience with monorepo tooling, build systems, and package managers (e.g. pnpm, Nx, Turborepo, Bazel) including build caching and remote execution
- •Experience with developer productivity metrics and feedback loops (e.g. DORA) and data-driven improvements
- •Experience making local development environments stable and reproducible across teams
- •Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- •Experience in async or globally distributed teams
- •Comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly
What You'll Do
- •Improve local development and the daily workflow including environment stability, onboarding, IDE tooling, code search, and project scaffolding
- •Speed up build, test, and CI by optimizing testing tooling, profiling performance, optimizing CI pipelines, and integrating code review tooling
- •Evaluate, integrate, and promote AI coding agents and assistants, build related skills and plugins, and measure AI tooling impact
- •Drive engineering excellence by championing best practices, tracking productivity metrics and code-quality signals, and establishing automation to catch issues early
