Requirements
- •Expert-level TypeScript knowledge including generics, conditional and mapped types
- •Experience authoring or maintaining a published library with a public API
- •Experience working on open-source projects including issue triage, PR reviews, release automation, changelogs, semver, and security reports
- •Fluency with npm packaging including dual ESM/CJS builds, export maps, type resolution, and semver discipline
- •Habit of testing including unit, type-level, and end-to-end tests
- •Strong written communication skills for design docs, changelogs, and issue replies
- •Ability to work autonomously and manage scope
- •Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- •Experience in async or globally distributed teams
- •Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
What You'll Do
- •Build and evolve JS/TS SDKs
- •Start new features and improvements
- •Work in public repositories and manage issues and contributions
- •Own the type experience for autocomplete and inference
- •Ensure compatibility across runtimes like Node, Deno, Bun, browsers, Cloudflare Workers, React Native/Expo
- •Work on realtime features including WebSocket connections and subscriptions
- •Track platform changes and update SDKs accordingly
- •Write RFCs, migration guides, release notes, and documentation
- •Make SDKs accessible to AI coding agents
