Requirements
- •Strong AWS expertise and working knowledge of GCP including pricing models and billing structures
- •Automation and scripting skills in Python, Terraform/pulumi, Lambda, or Bash
- •Experience with cost/billing tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Cost & Usage Reports, GCP Billing Reports, and BI/dashboarding tools
- •Comfortable with Linear and Notion for tracking and documenting FinOps work
- •Ability to analyze cost data and present it clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- •Prior experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud governance roles
What You'll Do
- •Find and ship savings across AWS and GCP by analyzing billing, usage, and cost trends and implementing fixes
- •Build and maintain cost attribution systems including tagging policies and cost allocation
- •Automate cost governance through cost reporting, anomaly detection, alerting, and infrastructure-as-code
- •Partner with engineering teams on architecture decisions to incorporate cost efficiencies early
- •Work with Finance on forecasting, budget tracking, and financial KPI reporting
