Requirements
- •Currently enrolled in an MBA, master's, or other graduate program or a strong undergraduate candidate with relevant experience
- •Prior experience in product management, engineering, or a fast-moving startup role is highly preferred
- •Strong product instincts with natural thinking about users, flows, and edge cases
- •Data fluency comfortable reading analytics dashboards, writing basic SQL, or knowing the right questions to ask
- •Exceptional written communication skills with clear and concise specs, tickets, and async updates
- •Comfort operating with ambiguity and driving workstreams independently
- •High ownership mindset with follow-through and early blocker flagging
What You'll Do
- •Support the Host Squad product team during a high-velocity summer
- •Own specific deliverables end-to-end collaborating with Engineering, Design, and QA
- •Get deep into critical parts of the host product including flows and features that drive revenue, retention, and operations
- •Identify gaps, edge cases, and failure states with a user-centered lens
- •Propose and prioritize improvements and partner with engineering and design to execute them
- •Own new feature work end-to-end from problem definition and spec to launch
- •Define and drive analytics for recently launched features and synthesize early signals into actionable takeaways
- •Own competitive analysis workstream for growth-adjacent features and synthesize findings into product recommendations
- •Perform data analysis and synthesis to support roadmap decisions
- •Contribute to 0-to-1 discovery work for upcoming features including user research synthesis, problem framing, or spec writing
- •Develop and apply a bug priority rubric for revenue-generating and operations-critical workflows
- •Maintain backlog health by consolidating duplicates, triaging stale items, and ensuring active issues have context, owners, and priorities
- •Support roadmap sequencing discussions by surfacing tradeoffs, dependencies, and effort/impact signals
Nice to Have
- •Experience with B2B SaaS, marketplace, or fitness/wellness verticals
- •Familiarity with Linear, Notion, Amplitude, or similar product tooling
