Requirements
- •Hands on experience implementing GenAI and ML in software solutions
- •Proven leadership experience building and scaling AI or data-driven product capabilities
- •Track record of shipping AI-powered features in SaaS or enterprise products
- •Experience operating at senior leadership level
- •Strong understanding of modern AI/ML approaches including LLMs and applied AI systems
- •Ability to bridge technical depth with product thinking and business outcomes
- •Experience with data platforms, experimentation, and model deployment at scale
- •Strong executive presence with ability to influence across Product, Engineering, and GTM teams
- •Experience building teams and attracting top AI talent

What You'll Do
- •Define and own company-wide AI strategy aligned to business goals and product roadmap
- •Identify high-impact AI use cases across planning, forecasting, resource management, and productivity
- •Translate emerging AI capabilities into product and platform opportunities
- •Act as a thought partner to executive leadership on AI investments and priorities
- •Partner with Product leadership to define and execute AI roadmap
- •Drive development of intelligent features such as predictive insights, recommendations, and automation
- •Establish a scalable AI platform layer supporting multiple products and use cases
- •Ensure AI capabilities deliver measurable customer value
- •Build and lead a high-performing AI team across GenAI, Agents, machine learning, data science, and applied AI engineering
- •Define operating model, hiring strategy, and capability roadmap for AI
- •Foster collaboration across Product, Engineering, Design, and Data teams
- •Elevate AI literacy across the organization
- •Partner with Data and Platform teams for AI development foundations
- •Drive strategy for data quality, governance, and model lifecycle management
- •Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective AI infrastructure
- •Establish best practices for ethical, secure, and compliant AI use
- •Ensure customer trust through transparency, privacy, and responsible model usage
- •Stay ahead of regulatory and industry developments related to AI
- •Represent company as AI leader in Atlassian ecosystem and SaaS space
- •Engage with customers, partners, and industry communities
- •Bring external perspective on AI trends, tools, and competitive landscape
