Requirements
- •At least 1 year of sales development/business development experience at a technology company or 1+ years of closing experience in another industry
- •Understanding or interest in understanding the cloud computing/communications business model
- •Excitement for selling to a technical audience using a solution-oriented approach
- •Strong written and verbal communication skills
- •Technical solutions selling experience and enjoyment in working with real customers
- •High adaptability and comfort in a rapid-paced environment
What You'll Do
- •Responsible for net new customer acquisition and driving new revenue for a specific territory while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- •Work with customers across all verticals to understand their business and technical requirements and design solutions using Twilio’s communications API platform
- •Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Support) to address customer requirements and advise on digital communication strategies
- •Communicate complex technical and financial details simply and effectively
- •Balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects/deals simultaneously
- •Develop new processes and contribute to building a sales playbook
