Requirements
- •10+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or crisis management at a principal or senior manager level within a global technology company
- •Demonstrated experience as a trusted right-hand to communications leadership, steering program strategy and executing on the ground
- •Deep experience managing highly confidential and sensitive communications around M&A, restructuring, legal actions, and complex workplace issues
- •Exceptional emotional intelligence and discretion with ability to influence C-suite executives and legal counsel
- •Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- •Proven ghostwriting ability for various leaders with quick adaptation to tone and style
- •Masterful storytelling and writing skills to distill complex legal, regulatory, or organizational nuances into clear employee communications
What You'll Do
- •Partner on Global IC Strategy by co-architecting the overarching strategic direction and execution of the internal communications program
- •Partner closely with PR/External Comms to align internal and external narratives during strategic projects and crises
- •Lead highly sensitive employee communications including employment legal issues, ethics and misconduct cases, regulatory or legal actions, and safety & security incidents
- •Manage transactional & structural change communications for Mergers & Acquisitions, strategic transactions, organizational redesigns, and executive transitions
- •Advise on social issues by providing strategic counsel and developing messaging frameworks
- •Collaborate cross functionally with Legal, HR, Employee Relations, Security, and Corporate Affairs to operationalize communications around sensitive matters
- •Support finance communications by partnering with Finance and ghostwriting for the CFO on companywide financial moments and internal communications
- •Flex across the IC portfolio by supporting Q&A prep, All Hands support, communications campaigns, and other writing and strategic needs
