Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- •Minimum 8 years experience in community engagement, partnership development, or grant management preferably in global nonprofit context
- •Experience leading multi-regional or multi-stakeholder partnership programs
- •Strong background in community-led or informed partnership development
- •Proven ability to lead and develop diverse, distributed teams with inclusive practices
- •Ability to connect with partners across UTC-8 to UTC+8 time zones and make 3-5 international trips annually

What You'll Do
- •Provide leadership and strategic oversight for local and regional partnership building aligned with Wikimedia Foundation’s strategy and Movement’s 2030 goals
- •Oversee a portfolio of partnerships to increase awareness, readership, content, financial and operational support for Wikimedia projects and affiliates
- •Champion community-informed partnerships and ensure effective collaboration across regions, teams, volunteer communities and affiliates
- •Contribute to leadership, strategic decision-making, and culture-building of the Community Investment and Partnerships team
- •Drive development, implementation, review, and adaptation of regional and local partnership strategies
- •Provide thought partnership to Senior Director on long-term strategy and program direction
- •Oversee all aspects of strategic partnership scoping, establishment, implementation and reporting
- •Support development and implementation of partnership systems for measurement, evaluation, and learning
- •Standardize core practices across regions while respecting autonomy and contextual needs
- •Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, Wikimedia organizations and volunteer communities
- •Create and maintain clear documentation for committee work and grant operations
- •Identify, design, and implement improvements to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency
- •Promote a learning culture embracing iteration, adaptation, and continuous improvement
- •Ensure alignment of team practices with organizational values
- •Lead, manage, and support a geographically distributed team of Regional Community Partnership Managers
- •Coordinate with partnership managers to review and report on goals and objectives
- •Provide clear direction, coaching, and professional development opportunities
- •Foster inclusive and collaborative ways of working
- •Develop team capacity to manage programs and deliver quality outputs
