Requirements
- •5+ years PQE experience in private practice and in-house roles within Financial Services industry
- •UK qualified lawyer or equivalent with significant experience in UK legal and regulatory environment
- •Demonstrable hands-on experience with regulatory applications for fintechs in banking, payments or cryptoasset industries
- •Ability to analyse complex UK legal and regulatory issues and provide clear, pragmatic advice
- •Problem-solving skills with innovative and proactive approach
- •High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- •Familiarity with technologies and ability to work digitally with a global team
- •Project management skills and ability to interact across teams
What You'll Do
- •Contribute to the preparation and management of UK regulatory applications
- •Act as a key legal adviser on the structuring and ongoing compliance of new product rollouts
- •Monitor, interpret and advise the business on the evolving UK legal and regulatory landscape
- •Assess, implement and maintain standards relating to key UK regulations including consumer duty principle and financial promotions rules
- •Review and analyse complex legal and regulatory information and provide concise analysis and actionable recommendations
- •Provide sound legal advice on commercial and regulatory matters including review of client-facing communications
