Requirements

•8+ years in design including 4+ years at Director/VP level in regulated digital bank, fintech, or crypto/web3 platform
•Direct accountability for measurable UX outcomes
•Demonstrable history of improving product metrics through design changes with data evidence
•Deep portfolio of native iOS and Android design shipped at scale with platform compliance
•Experience building and governing a component-driven design system with adoption tracking
•Experience designing complex multi-step flows such as wealth management tools and KYC setups
•Comfortable defending design decisions using telemetry, funnel data, and research
•Working knowledge of transaction states, card networks, and blockchain payment flows
•Dedicated workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection
•Alignment with company values and leadership principles

•Own design performance metrics including usability and conversion metrics across core flows and report progress quarterly
•Lead and scale the remote product and UX/UI design team with clear output expectations
•Govern the Xapo Design System and ensure adoption across teams
•Operationalize user discovery with usability testing and customer discovery per major release
•Partner across Product Groups to embed designers with shared friction-reduction targets
•Mandate high-fidelity prototyping and usability testing before engineering handoff
•Review shipped product against benchmarks and own remediation of flows below thresholds
•Govern AI in design responsibly with a framework for AI-assisted design and personalization
