Requirements
- •8+ years in software quality engineering with experience owning quality frameworks across engineering organizations
- •Hands-on experience building CI/CD quality gates at multiple levels
- •Practical experience with AI-assisted test tooling or equivalent
- •Ability to influence engineering teams through tooling, documentation, and frameworks without direct authority
- •Solid understanding of distributed, event-driven microservices architectures and testing requirements
- •Experience defining and tracking quality metrics such as defect escape rate and release veto rates
- •Strong written communication skills for documentation and enablement guides
- •Experience in regulated fintech, payments, or banking environments with mobile-first product delivery focus
What You'll Do
- •Own quality framework definition including coverage standards, gate criteria, and quality contribution to Definition of Done
- •Define measurable coverage thresholds per service and tribe and drive adoption
- •Hold pre-release veto authority to block releases when quality gates are not met
- •Define and drive AI-assisted test tooling framework and agentic QA pipeline
- •Produce training, documentation, tooling, and templates for Stream Aligned Teams to do quality work
- •Partner on test environment strategy including QA environments and test data management
- •Own quality posture reporting metrics like defect escape rate, coverage trends, release veto rate, AI tooling adoption progress
- •Partner with Security on integrating security testing into quality gates
Nice to Have
- •Hands-on experience with agentic or generative AI test tooling in production or near-production
- •Familiarity with Team Topologies and team interactions
- •Security testing experience including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning
- •Background in crypto, Web3, custody, or blockchain-based systems
- •Open-source contributions or external thought leadership related to quality engineering or test automation
